Terms

These terms are between you and Agami — Bangladesh Youth Skill Development Organisation (Private Limited Company (Bangladesh)), Mirpur-10, Dhaka, Bangladesh. By registering for an Agami event or joining as a member, you accept them.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you — and for school students their contact details are part of registration.

Membership is open to students of Class 9–12 and university level. It is free, and it stays free.

Agami Summit 1.0 runs across School (Class 6–12), College and University levels. Some individual tracks are limited to a class range — the Math & Science Olympiad to Class 6–8 and the Physics & Math Olympiad to Class 9–12, for example — and the limits are shown on each track before you enter it.

You may enter up to 3 tracks, provided their sessions do not clash in the programme. Business Case Competition teams are 2–4 people from the same category, with one team leader.

Registration is free.

Confirming: the entry deadline and the final team-size and per-track rules are still being settled with the founding team. The dates shown on the registration page are the working ones, and this page changes when they are fixed.

Register once, with details that are true. Your name, institution and class decide which track you are eligible for and what is printed on your ID card, so a wrong entry can cost you a place on the day.

Duplicate, automated or joke registrations may be removed without notice. Your ticket code and QR are personal to you and are not transferable.

If you cannot attend, tell us — a released place goes to another student.

Agami Summit 1.0 is hosted on the Dhaka College Campus (Bangladesh's largest college) together with Dhaka College Science Club. While you are there you are a guest of that institution, and its campus rules apply to you as well as ours.

What we expect, plainly:

• Be on time. Reporting is Day 1, 8:00 – 9:00 AM, Main — Registration & Reporting.
• Carry your ID card and wristband. No card, no entry to a competition room.
• Treat volunteers, judges, staff and other students with respect. Harassment, bullying, discriminatory language or intimidation ends your participation immediately.
• No cheating, no plagiarism, no phones in a closed-book round, no impersonating another participant.
• No smoking, alcohol or any illegal substance anywhere on campus.
• Do not damage campus property. Whoever damages it pays for it.
• Follow instructions from Agami volunteers and campus security, especially during entry, exit and any emergency.

We can refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaks these rules, and we may disqualify them from a track. Serious cases are reported to the participant's institution and, where relevant, to the authorities.

Agami events are photographed and filmed, and a national television partner may telecast stage moments. By attending you agree that Agami, the co-host and accredited media may record you in general audience and event footage, and may use that footage to report on and promote the event.

If you do not want to appear in Agami's own promotional material, tell a volunteer at the registration desk or email agami.info@gmail.com, and we will do our best to keep you out of it and will remove published images of you on request. Live television and press coverage is not ours to control.

Participants may take their own photos, but not during a closed competition round, and not in a way that disrupts a session.

Judging is done by panels appointed by Agami and its academic partners. Judges' decisions are final. Where a track publishes marking criteria, those criteria govern that track.

Prizes, crests and certificates are awarded at the organiser's discretion. Agami may change, substitute or withhold a prize — for example if a track does not run, if the entry is disqualified, or if the winner cannot be verified. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash unless we say so in writing.

Certificates are issued to participants whose attendance is recorded at check-in.

The programme published on this site is the plan, not a promise. Sessions, timings, tracks, venues, guests and dates may change, and a chapter may be postponed or cancelled — for reasons such as venue availability, weather, exam schedules, public holidays, government instruction or public safety.

We will announce changes on this site, on the Agami Facebook page and event, and by email to registered participants. Because registration is free, there is nothing to refund; where a paid element is ever introduced, its refund rules will be published alongside it.

Guests are listed as expected until they are on stage. Follower counts and reach figures are shown exactly as supplied to us.

Membership is free and gives you access to the curriculum, the community and deployment onto real projects. It is not employment, and it does not create a contract of employment.

Titles are earned, not given: promotions follow tracked work and skill, and no title is awarded before 6–8 months of tasks. A title can be withdrawn if the work behind it stops.

Some project work is paid and some is not. Paid work is agreed in advance, per piece or per role. Unpaid roles still earn a certificate, a named recommendation, a verified project line and points toward the ladder. Agami does not guarantee income, internships or placements to any member — Agami Connect creates the route, not the outcome.

You keep the copyright in work you create, and you grant Agami permission to use work you produce for an Agami project in connection with that project and with reporting on it.

The Agami name, logo, wordmark and page design belong to Agami. You may share links and screenshots; you may not reuse the brand as your own or imply you represent Agami without a written role.

Do not attempt to break, overload or extract data from this site. The registration form includes basic anti-spam measures, and automated submissions are discarded.

Some steps take you to third parties — the membership form on Google Forms, the public channel on Telegram, our page and event on Facebook, and a map from Google. Their terms and privacy policies apply while you are there.

You take part in Agami events at your own risk and remain responsible for your own belongings. Agami is not liable for lost or damaged personal property, for travel costs, or for indirect loss arising from a change to the programme.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Bangladeshi law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
